Welcome to the Home Page of the Border Branch of SERC

Border is a relatively small branch within SERC, attracting members from the Borders and North Northumberland . At present we have around 40 members, riding at all levels from Pleasure to Platinum.

If you are new to endurance, there is lots of useful information in Introduction to Endurance (pdf file). Come and try one of our pleasure rides (see diary), we are always happy to help newcomers. Contact our Ride Secretary for details. Full joining details are available from the Membership Secretary, or for any other enquiry a Committee Member will be pleased to help.

Longnewton Ride

^{Our next ride is at Longnewton nr St Boswells, on Friday 30th, Saturday 31st and Sunday 1st August, this is a lovely ride and non members are more than welcome. Pleasure rides are 21km or 25km, more detail on the entry form.}

For competitive riders

80 km class made up of 25 km, 35 km and 21 km

60 km class made up of 35 km and 25 km

50 km class made up of 2 x 25 km

2 day 80 km made up of Day 1 21 km and 25 km

Day 2 - 35 km

2 day 60 km made up of day 1 35 km, day 2 25 km

Equine Photography will be in attendance on both days.

Also - water barrels for sale - £2.50 each. To be used for sloshing water for the first year. Available at the caravan on the day.

BBQ on Saturday evening - bring your own booze and food to the BBQ at the caravan on Sat evening.
